ML Securities Ltd was founded by Alhaji A.G.F. Abdulrazaq (SAN), the first lawyer from whole Northern Nigeria. His passion & vision for economy growth & development of entity called Nigeria made him to be selected as six men Capital Market Commission in 1963, to oversee the Lagos Stock Exchange, which was established in 1961. Alhaji A.G.F. Abdulrazaq (SAN) he was also a Council member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) when “The Lagos Stock Exchange” metamorphosed into the NSE. He was on the Board of the Council till year 2000, when he was made the President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange from 2000 – 2003. During his reign as the President the Market Capitalization of the Exchange (ASI INDEX) increased tremendously that stockbrokers gave him the title of “BOOM PRESIDENT”.
ML Securities Ltd was incorporated in May 24th, 1978 registered with The Nigerian Stock Exchange on 30th March 1979 to operate as Broker/Dealer and financial adviser. The Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), which oversees Capital Market operations in Nigeria, admitted ML Securities Limited as licensed stockbroking firm to operate under the Nigerian Capital Market in February 8th 1993.
